Micah Ian Wright

MICAH IAN WRIGHT is a writer, director, designer, and producer who has worked in film, television, videogames, comic books, animation, and virtual reality. After earning degrees in political science and creative writing from the University of Arizona, Micah relocated to Los Angeles and worked at Nickelodeon Animation Studios on The Angry Beavers. While there, he also created Nickelodeon’s first action-adventure show, Constant Payne. Micah created and wrote the comic series Stormwatch: Team Achilles for Wildstorm/DC Comics. His comics work has also been seen in WWIII and Nickelodeon Magazine. He is currently hard at work on Get Lucky, his next graphic novel with Jay Lender and Jok. Micah has written and designed on over forty videogames, including Call of Duty: Black Ops II and games in the Looney TunesRatchet & Clank, and Transformers franchises.

Jay Lender

JAY LENDER is a writer, director, and artist who’s worked in all the same fields as that other guy. He spent four years as a director on Disney’s Phineas and Ferb, writing, storyboarding, and composing the occasional song, accounting for half the shows made during his tenure, and garnering his second Emmy nomination. Before that, he did most of the same stuff for the classic first three seasons of Nickelodeon’s number-one hit show SpongeBob SquarePants, and got his first Emmy nod. Jay also worked on other Nickelodeon shows such as Hey Arnold!, CatDog, and The Angry Beavers. In addition to his work in animation, Jay has written a number of videogames, and his comic book and illustration work has appeared in Nickelodeon Magazine and Spongebob Comics.

Micah and Jay recently wrote and directed their first live-action feature film, the first-person thriller They’re Watching. It will arrive in theaters in early 2016.

Jok

Breakdown artist JOK has worked as a writer and artist since 1993. His comics have been published in Italy, France, Spain, England, Canada, Brazil, Uruguay, and the United States. Jok is a member of La Productora, a collective dedicated to publishing comics in Argentina. La Productora’s book Carne Argentina has been reprinted several times in Argentina, and was also published in Spain, France, and Brazil.

Jok’s comics work includes Bio-Boy, the science fiction graphic novel
The Hill, and the spaghetti western series Vengeance of the Vapor from Markosia. He also drew the graphic novel Redball 6 for Arcana Publishing, and wrote the graphic adventure Abelard and the Giant Eagles with art by Carlos Aón. His creator-owned graphic novel, Forty Coffins, has been published in Argentina, Italy, and Spain. He’s currently doing the series Dungeons and Burglars for David Lloyd’s Aces Weekly website, and the steampunk series Big Game Hunters for Space Goat Publishing.

Jorge Blanco

Colorist JORGE BLANCO is a well-known artist on Argentina’s comics scene. A penciller, inker, colorist, and sculptor, his comic series Camulus has been running since 1997. His previous coloring credits include The Alchemist graphic novel for Sea Lions Books, Transformers for IDW Publishing, Flash Gordon for Ardden Entertainment, The Hill and Vengeance of the Vapor for Markosia, Redball 6 and Philosopher Rex for Arcana, as well as several series published in Italy.
